  2.    mesg [yes|no]
  3.  
  4. Description:
  5.    This command works exactly like the Unix command of the same name.  It
  6.    effectively removes the world-write permissions on the client's tty,
  7.    such that incoming talk requests and writes are blocked.  It is most
  8.    useful for dodging "flash" bombs; talk requests with special escape
  9.    sequences in the username that scramble vt100 terminals.

  11.    MESG used with no arguments displays the current setting.

  13. Other Notes:
  14.    This command has the undesired side effect of blocking legitimate talk
  15.    requests.  Talk and write are not blocked, however, when sent from the
  16.    host's superuser.
